Yesterday I ventured over to one of my favorite spots in Charlotte, Sleepy Poet Antique Mall, in search of a couple items for the evolving nursery (posts to come). I have been known to stay at this mecca of all things old and some things junky for upwards of two hours, much to the dismay of my husband. Needless to say, he doesn't appreciate the thrifting browse and constant head swivel necessary to find treasures.
Moral of the story, when designing a space, finding the right item or idea takes time and consideration. Keep your head always on a swivel for what you're looking for and for any inspiration that can be offered up by what's around (even in a somewhat junky antique mall.)
